ABOUT ME.
Hi, I’m Allen, a Graphic Designer with a passion for clean visuals, strong storytelling, and purposeful design. I earned my degree from the Art Institute of Virginia Beach in 2015 and have spent the past seven years bringing ideas to life through digital and print design.
My work spans brand identity, digital illustration, and logo design, with experience leading small design teams on commercial branding projects, print campaigns, website development, and technical illustrations. For the past two years, I’ve also served as a department technical lead on a government project, collaborating across departments to create detailed visuals like blowouts and cutaways. Along the way, I’ve supported team operations through meeting facilitation and project status reporting.
Whether it’s building a brand from scratch or solving visual problems with clean, compelling graphics, I’m all about design that works and leaves a mark.

MY EXPERIENCE.
09/2019 – 05/2024 | Lead Technical Illustrator, Noblis MSD. Provides assistance in administrative responsibilities, including hosting team meetings and sending status reports. Provided the performance standard for technical illustrations and developed the skills of coworkers and subordinates. Produced illustrations and diagrams, including equipment blowouts and cutaways for the Logistics Support Vessel (LSV), Modular Causeway Systems
(MCS) Causeway Ferry and Warping Tug (CF/WT). Software used: Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, IADS, Arbortext.
11/2016 – 09/2017 | Technical Illustrator, Creative Business Solutions Inc. Provides Illustrations and diagrams, including equipment blowouts and cutaways for the LCU 2000 SLEP Project. Software used: Photoshop, Illustrator.
